A savory Korean dish featuring tender braised short ribs in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup rice wine
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, rice wine, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add short ribs to the bowl and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Transfer the short ribs to a baking dish and pour the marinade over them.
- Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 hours.
- Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
