Description

A savory Korean dish featuring tender braised short ribs in a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, rice wine, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Add short ribs to the bowl and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Transfer the short ribs to a baking dish and pour the marinade over them.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 hours.
  6. Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with steamed rice.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
