Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer noodles, beef mixture, ricotta cheese, and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Finish with a layer of noodles and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits.
  • Use your favorite marinara sauce.
