A delicious layered Neapolitan cake featuring chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour three 6-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla, and mix well.
- Divide the batter into three bowls.
- Add cocoa powder to the first bowl for chocolate layer.
- Add strawberry puree to the second bowl for strawberry layer.
- Leave the third bowl as vanilla layer.
- Pour each batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool before removing from pans.
- Layer the cakes with frosting between each layer.
Notes
- Use a serrated knife to level the cakes.
- Chill the cake before frosting for easier handling.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
