Description
A warm and comforting Japanese soup made with miso paste and tofu.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons miso paste
- 1 cup tofu, cubed
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup seaweed (wakame), soaked and chopped
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Dissolve miso paste in a small bowl with a bit of hot water.
- Add the dissolved miso to the pot.
- Add tofu and seaweed to the pot.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of miso to taste.
- Use soft or firm tofu based on preference.
- Serve hot for best flavor.
