- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 package pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sliced steak over medium heat until browned.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in Italian seasoning and remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Spread the steak mixture over the dough, leaving edges clear.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the steak mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
