Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Divide batter into three bowls. Mix strawberry puree into one, leave one plain, and add cocoa to the third.
  7. Scoop batter into cupcake liners, layering the flavors.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
  9. Let cool before frosting.
