Delicious Neapolitan cupcakes with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup vanilla frosting
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Fill cupcake liners with one third of the batter, then add strawberry puree for the second third, and top with the remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cupcakes cool before frosting.
  9. Frost the top with chocolate and vanilla frosting in a swirled pattern.
