- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry puree
- 1/2 cup vanilla frosting
- 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fill cupcake liners with one third of the batter, then add strawberry puree for the second third, and top with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool before frosting.
- Frost the top with chocolate and vanilla frosting in a swirled pattern.

- Use fresh strawberries for puree.
