Description
A delicious twist on the classic Rice Krispie treats with a Neapolitan flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup strawberry puree
- 1/2 cup vanilla frosting
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispies until well coated.
- Divide the mixture into three bowls.
- In the first bowl, mix in chocolate chips.
- In the second bowl, mix in strawberry puree.
- Leave the third bowl plain for the vanilla layer.
- Press the chocolate mixture into a greased pan.
- Layer the strawberry mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
- Press the vanilla layer on top of the strawberry.
- Allow to cool and cut into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- These treats are best enjoyed within a few days.
