Description

A delicious twist on the classic Rice Krispie treats with a Neapolitan flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup vanilla frosting

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispies until well coated.
  4. Divide the mixture into three bowls.
  5. In the first bowl, mix in chocolate chips.
  6. In the second bowl, mix in strawberry puree.
  7. Leave the third bowl plain for the vanilla layer.
  8. Press the chocolate mixture into a greased pan.
  9. Layer the strawberry mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
  10. Press the vanilla layer on top of the strawberry.
  11. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
