Description

A delicious no-bake cheesecake inspired by the classic Black Forest cake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Whip heavy cream and vanilla extract in another bowl until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  7. Add a layer of cherry pie filling over the cheesecake.
  8. Top with the remaining cheesecake mixture.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  10. Before serving, garnish with dark chocolate shavings and additional cherry pie filling.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for best results.
  • Chill the cheesecake overnight for better texture.
  • Optional: add whipped cream on top for decoration.
