A classic recipe for Martha Washington candy, rich and sweet.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of chopped pecans
- 1 cup of crushed graham crackers
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 1 lb of chocolate coating or melting chocolate
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine pecans, graham crackers, powdered sugar, coconut, and peanut butter.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
- Place on a wax paper-lined tray and refrigerate until firm.
- Melt the chocolate coating in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each candy into the chocolate, coating completely.
- Return to the wax paper and let the chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- These candies can be made ahead of time.
- Substitute almonds for pecans if preferred.
