Description
Olive Garden’s famous breadsticks are soft, buttery, and seasoned with garlic. They are perfect as a side dish or snack.

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add melted butter, salt, and garlic powder to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a stick and place on a baking sheet.
- Let the breadsticks rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
