- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 package (2.1 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion and bell pepper.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add the cheese soup, milk, and mixed vegetables to the skillet.
- Stir until combined and heated through.
- Pour the mixture into a pie dish.
- Cover with the pie crust and cut slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until crust is golden brown.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
