Description
Delicious pecan sticky buns with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 egg
- 1 packet of active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, cinnamon, and salt.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into pieces.
- Place pieces in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare glaze and drizzle over warm buns.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
