Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Roll out the dough and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Roll the dough into a log and cut into pieces.
  7. Place pieces in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare glaze and drizzle over warm buns.
