Description
Grilled Persian chicken kabobs marinated in spices.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 onion, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, grated onion, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
- Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
Notes
- Soaking wooden skewers in water prevents burning.
- Feel free to add bell peppers or onions to skewers.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
