Description
A refreshing Persian lemonade made with lemons and mint.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a bowl.
- Mix the lemon juice with sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add water to the lemon-sugar mixture and stir well.
- Add fresh mint leaves and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
- Serve over ice cubes.
