A delicious dish featuring pork meatballs served with sweet potato mash and a bourbon-maple sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes, then boil until tender.
- Drain sweet potatoes and mash with milk and butter.
- In a saucepan, combine bourbon, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Serve meatballs over sweet potato mash and drizzle with bourbon-maple sauce.
