Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add beef and brown on all sides.
- Stir in paprika and caraway seeds.
- Add bell pepper, tomatoes, and broth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Serve hot with bread or noodles.
