- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk and butter.
- Stir in cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Spread the potato mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add bacon or ham for extra flavor.
- Use any cheese you prefer.
- This pie can be made ahead and reheated.
