Description
A classic Reuben sandwich made with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and rye bread.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of rye bread
- 4 ounces of corned beef
- 2 ounces of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup of sauerkraut
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of Russian or Thousand Island dressing
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
- Spread dressing on the unbuttered side of each slice.
- Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on one slice.
- Top with the other slice, dressing side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese melts, about 4 minutes.
Notes
- Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
- Grill the sandwich slowly to ensure even cooking.
- Feel free to add pickles for extra crunch.
