Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine apples, sugar, brown sugar, water, and cinnamon.
  2. Cook over medium heat until apples soften, about 20 minutes.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  4. Return to the pot and add salt, cream, and vanilla.
  5. Simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Cool and transfer to jars.
