Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Mix in sweetened condensed milk and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  8. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until set.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
