- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 4 cups shredded hash browns
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add the hash browns and cooked sausage to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
