Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef or lamb, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in carrots and potatoes, cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Add frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot.
