- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 sandwich rolls
- Optional: pickles, cheese, or additional toppings
Instructions
- Season the beef with black pepper.
- In a skillet, brown the beef on all sides.
- Transfer the beef to a slow cooker.
- Add onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve the shredded beef on sandwich rolls.
- Add any optional toppings as desired.
Notes
- You can use a pressure cooker to speed up the cooking time.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
