Ingredients

- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 12 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, sift together cake flour and half of the sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add remaining sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in vanilla extract and the flour mixture gently.
- Fold in rainbow sprinkles.
- Pour batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Invert the pan and let the cake cool completely.
- Remove from the pan and serve.
Notes
- Make sure to use fresh egg whites for best results.
- Do not grease the pan to allow the cake to rise properly.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
