Description

A delicious meatball made with bourbon BBQ sauce and cheese, served as a burger.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onions, BBQ sauce, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Top each meatball with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Serve on a bun with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

  • You can use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
