Description

Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwiches are tender, flavorful sandwiches made with seasoned beef, served on crusty rolls.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) pepperoncini peppers
  • 8 hoagie rolls
  • Provolone cheese, optional

Instructions

  1. Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the roast.
  3. Add the beef broth and pepperoncini peppers.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  5. Shred the beef with two forks.
  6. Serve on hoagie rolls with some of the cooking juices.
  7. Add provolone cheese if desired.
