- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into four equal balls.
- Place each ball on the skillet and smash down with a spatula.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Flip the burger and add a slice of cheese on top.
- Toast the buns in the skillet.
- Assemble the burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and secret sauce.
