- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and salt together.
- Slowly add the warm cream mixture to the eggs, whisking constantly.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into ramekins.
- Place ramekins in a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate before serving.
