Description

Savory meatballs filled with gooey mozzarella and flavored with spinach and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
  4. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the meat around it.
  5. Shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Repeat until all mixture is used.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Serve warm.

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
