Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into rectangles.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on each pastry rectangle.
  6. Add sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
  7. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling.
  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.
