Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  7. Fold in strawberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing into squares.
