Description
Strawberry sweet tea is a refreshing southern classic with a fruity twist. The sweetness of strawberries blends perfectly with black tea for a vibrant, delicious drink.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 black tea bags
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and steep 4 black tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool.
- Place 2 cups sliced strawberries in a bowl. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar if desired and let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.
- In a large pitcher, combine cooled tea with strawberries and their juices. Stir gently.
- Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to chill. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Adjust sweetness to taste using sugar, honey, or agave. Fresh or frozen strawberries both work well.
