Description

Stuffed Chinese Cabbage Rolls are a delicious and healthy dish filled with meat and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of Chinese cabbage
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the cabbage leaves and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground pork, cooked rice, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a spoonful of the mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  5. Place the rolls seam side down in a baking dish.
  6. Add a little water or broth to the dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use any ground meat of your choice.
  • Add more vegetables for extra nutrition.
  • Serve with additional soy sauce for dipping.
