Ingredients

  3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into two pieces.
  6. Shape into loaves and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  • For a softer crust, brush with melted butter after baking.
