- 4 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup pecans or mini marshmallows for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil sweet potatoes until tender, then mash them.
- In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with pecans or marshmallows.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until heated through and topping is golden.
