- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
- Spread the chopped pecans and chocolate chips evenly in the crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the pecans and chocolate in the crust.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
