Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a 9-inch round cake pan over low heat.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  4. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the brown sugar.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  6. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla together.
  7. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  8. Pour batter over the strawberries in the pan.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
