Ingredients

- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Slowly pour the hot syrup into the egg whites while beating continuously.
- Add vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture onto a lined baking sheet.
- Let it cool and set for several hours.
- Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
