Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add sour cream and egg yolk; mix until combined.
- Form dough into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread filling down the center of the dough.
- Fold the edges over the filling to form a log.
- Place on a baking sheet, seam side down, and brush with egg white.
- Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
