Description

A rich and creamy fudge with layers of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. Add cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring until boiling.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour half of the mixture into a greased pan.
  6. Stir strawberry puree into the remaining mixture and pour over the first layer.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for the puree.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Fudge can be refrigerated to set faster.
