Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fruit jam of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugars, salt, and vanilla until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread the fruit jam evenly over the pressed mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the jam.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares.
